For years, I have been the queen of spinning many plates.
This summer, I have given myself permission to FOCUS on one big initiative.
My big initiative is the launch of Life Goes on Roadmap™ as a business to consumer offer as well as a business to business invitation for licensing this system as a done-for-you-private-label offer to support financial advisors and other professional service providers to serve their clients more deeply, attract leads, make more money, differentiate, and welcome enthusiastic referrals.
What a revelation this has been.
I feel so clear and purposeful in my actions. Results are absolutely flowing in all good ways.
Why did I wait so long?
Truth is, the 2008 Great Recession was really tough, and I had a lot of my former publicity business dry up in what seemed like an instant.
Tough times those were.
Having only one source of revenue made me very fearful and vulnerable in an economic downturn.
That’s when I decided to get serious about creating multiple streams of income so if one well would run dry, the others would still carry me forward.
Well, a lot of years have passed since then.
Not long ago, I had this ‘wake up call’ that operating from that old place of fear and vulnerability from 2008 wasn’t in my best interests today. I just decided to FOCUS on the one course of action that calls me forward in a big way.
Every day, I take action on at least five things to advance toward my big goal, and many days, I exceed that.
Everything is working out great!
What is the lesson?
FOCUS: Follow One Course Until Successful
You may be thinking, “Duh moment.”
And you might be right.
I may be a bit of a slow learner, but when I get the lesson, I GET the lesson.
This one is as clear as day.
