If you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time, you know that I am committed to empowering business owners with information, stories, and resources to help them enjoy more local publicity success with greater ease. If you are new to this blog, please know that is my commitment.
I would like to invite as many people to read more about the Authentic Visibility do-it-yourself publicity kit, and that means choosing an image that really resonates with those of you who desire more local publicity success with greater ease. That said, which of the following images resonate most with you?
I can test each image for three months and watch my “Google Analytics” to get a sense of which one works the best, or I can cut to the chase and ask those who follow my work and benefit directly from my advice what they think right now. Can you post a comment to this blog and give me your gut reaction or send me an email at nancy@nsjmktg.com? Then, I’ll be that much closer to achieving my goal. I’d really appreciate it!
Nancy,
The photo on the far right, of the person reaching for the sky is bright, simple, clean and flows well with your wording below. The others seem cluttered and require too much scrutiny of the photo. The photos and words separate the total image. Your eyes focus on photo or words, and haltingly move between each other. They convey singular, insulated actions, and don’t project the outward energy that the far right photo does. Hope that helps!
Gut reaction? The Hollywood Walk of Fame star. To me, the one on the far left seems cliche. When I saw the Hollywood star, I sort of oohed and moaned at the same time! (that’s a good thing I think!!)
The Hollywood star – I knew right away what it meant! The others are softer/touchy-feely, which might be fine. But I like the Star!
Hi Sharon, Margit, and Karen,
Thanks so much for sharing your comments. The Hollywood Star of Fame has two votes “yes” and one vote “no.” Let’s see if others chime in, but it would appear from this small AND meaningful sample that the star is a good choice.
One of my newspaper columns is going to run in 400 Scripps Howard News Service papers across the USA on 1-23-08, so I want to make sure the graphics on the blog are as inviting to new guests as possible. The site could get some new traffic, and I can’t wait to see what happens.
