If you haven’t yet signed up for Blogger Link Up, I hope this blog post compels you into action. It’s a free service, and you can click on the link to read more about it.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw a post on Blogger Link Up from Janet Vasil of Your Media Moment and Beyond. She was seeking business owners to interview about how publicity was playing a part in their success. I responded and recommended she speak to three people I know who are having a fair amount of success.
The end result was that she interviewed all three of them. Visit this link to listen to interviews with Publici-Tea™ Graduates Debbie Rosemont and Betsy Talbot and my good friend and co-collaborator Amber Singleton Riviere who is host of the Rock Your Genius radio show, among other things.
And, here is another great outcome from that connection. As I was checking out Janet’s website before I made my pitch to her media query, I couldn’t help but marvel at her broadcast expertise. I sent her an email and invited a conversation for relationship. We hit it off right away.
Very shortly, Janet will be guest blogging at Authentic Visibility to elaborate about the best ways to use broadcast media to tell your story. She’s got the track record and the insights to share, and I know it’s going to be great.
One good thing often leads to another. In this case, a simple query on Blogger Link Up helped three great gals earn their media moment, and it also helped me connect with a quality resource to serve your broadcast media training needs in a deeper way.
Everyone is a winner, and that is the point. Love that.
Nancy,
You are such a fabulous connector. Thanks for the introduction to Janet. We had a fun interview and it was a pleasure to talk to her. I’m glad to hear you two have found a way to work together as well. Win-Win-Win.
You’re the best. Happy Business Anniversary! Congratulations on your success. I have no doubt you’ll continue to grow and thrive in the years ahead (as will the lucky people who take advantage of your products, classes and services!).
Warmly,
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
Thank you. It was my pleasure to introduce you to Janet. I listened to your interview, and you did a great job.
Thank you also for the anniversary wishes.
With all the hoopla these last couple of days about the Academy Awards, I have these moments when I just want to hold my shampoo bottle in front of the bathroom mirror and say, “I’d like to thank all the members of the Main Street Media Savvy community for learning their lessons well and doing me proud.”
You are one of those action oriented people who practices the DIY lessons I teach and welcomes consistent and ongoing success. I love that. Keep up the great work.
And keep reading the blog. I love that, too.
Nancy
Thanks, as always, Nancy! Like Debbie said, the interview with Janet was a lot of fun.
I hope you had an amazing anniversary week!
Amber
Hi Amber,
My pleasure! The anniversary sale was a big success, and I am so happy. Info Products Guy James Roche was a huge help to me as I put this event together. He gets my highest recommendation.
Thanks for being in my community.
