When was the last time you picked up the phone, connected authentically, listened carefully, and contributed purely in real time?
I just got off the phone (alert the media!) with Social Media Expert Michelle Price, and we talked about this a fair amount. It was a very inspiring call, and I was grateful for the opportunity to really connect with her. From where I sit, social media doesn’t just happen online. It happens in person. It happens by phone. It happens when you look someone in the eye and listen intently to what is said. To be heard — whether one-to-one or on a one-to-many basis — is a beautiful thing.
