Have you been meaning to get your act together so you never leave a mess for your family to clean up later?

Join the club. You are not alone.  Procrastination is a real thing.

But take a lesson from "Time is all you have ... and you may find one day that you have less than you think."Randy Pausch, author of The Last Lecture. He said, “Time is all you have … and you may find one day that you have less than you think.”

So here’s bright idea…

What if you kicked off this summer with a fun virtual road trip that guides you to gain power, access, and control to unlock the keys to everything that matters to you and your family before life hits the fan, while kicking procrastination to the curb for good?

Just a few months ago, we guided a whole new crew of families to get ahead of life before life hits the fan during the Life Goes on Roadmap™ virtual get it done day.

Amy, Michelle, and Chris were among them.

As they wrapped up their day, I asked if there were any big surprises along the journey or things they didn’t know or that they were glad to find out as they got their personal financial information and documents organized .

Here’s what Chris had to say:

“In the process of filling in all of the items that you had already identified, it also brought up for us other important things that we could easily add. It was just so handy to have a spreadsheet already set out for us so we could just add additional tabs or more columns or rows or whatever, and when we came across important documents scan them, make a copy, document that this exists and where it is. It gives us a feeling of security and confidence that we know what’s going on and we can find important things when we need to. “

Michelle, Chris’ wife, had this to say:

“… Having support from you and Steve and also having it be put out in a positive, fun way, helped me cope with feeling on edge talking about all of this with my husband. The actual getting it together can be balanced out by having it be fun. That fun light part actually makes a big difference.”

Amy said:

I like the accountability. It helps so much. I have a lot of this information in all the other places and getting it all secured and so that my partner and I can talk about the hairy-scary stuff is good. For me, the accountability and the check in calls were super great. This call in particular been really amazing for me.”

We are leading ANOTHER Get It Done Virtual Day on Saturday, June 15.

Consider this a virtual road trip to kick your summer adventures into gear.

In a few hours, you’ll be prepared for whatever life serves up so you have the peace of mind that you’ll never leave a mess for your family to clean up should something random or crazy happen to you.
