I’ve been doing business online since 2009.

Despite the ups and downs of the economy and speed bumps in my personal life, I’ve managed to generate top line revenue of well over six-figures consistently since then — with the exception of two years when life really hit the fan and everything went off the rails.

That happens to all of us at one time or another.

I am a gal who likes to keep it real and speak the truth.

That is the kind of post this is.

It’s a long one that may be for you, especially if whatever methods you’ve been using to sell your products, programs or services as a coach, mentor, or professional service provider are falling short delivering the sales you desire with more of the right clients you want to serve.

When it came time to rebooting my business and returning to that income level or better, I decided to use a system called the Live Launch Method. This is an approach to bringing your products/services to market that was created, tested and proven by Kelly  Roach — the founder and CEO of Kelly Roach Coaching — now one of the fastest growing private companies  in America according to Inc. Magazine.

How I welcomed hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales to my business and how you can, too

This is not about creating highly produced videos or PowerPoint presentations to deliver your value. It’s about showing up raw and real and of service — direct to camera — to deliver your value in your own best way.

Something about that appealed to me.

That’s why I invested in specific training to learn how to do it in a world class way.

This method is all about delivering extreme value over a 9-day window of time to a carefully curated group of 300 or more people in your ideal target market who have the means and the need to invest in what you are selling to solve a problem than needs urgent relief.

The theory is that you can go from cold to closed in 9 days or less by doing exactly that.

I’ve been using this method consistently for the better part of the last 2 years.

My bookkeeper’s reports for July 2020 through July 2022 prove that hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales have flowed into my shopping cart as a direct result of consistently applying this method in service to my community.

They say when you invest in a training program, you should aim to get 10 times the return on your investment.

Always the over-achiever, I’ve welcomed 14 times my return on the investment I made to learn this method by being a client who took massive action.

Since I’ve been marketing my business in this way, many of my clients and colleagues have asked me to show them how to do it.

This is not my method.

It’s Kelly Roach’s method.

I am NOT going to attempt to teach the method that has the founder’s name on the door.

Here’s what I will do.

  1.  I recommend you buy Kelly Roach’s book on Amazon called The Live Launch Method and read it from cover to cover. Then read it again.
  2. If you need expert support with implementation, I recommend you attend one of her upcoming Live Launch events through which she or one of her able senior team members walk you through the method and explain how and why it works so well.
  3. Then, you can make your own decision about how well this method can work for you.

Here are a few thoughts about why it works from my experience.

A big reason why it works so well is that after delivering extreme value for 9 days to your engaged audience, every participant experiences real value and results at the feet of your wisdom. Whether they buy from you today or in the future, that puts a halo of credibility around your brand and reputation for showing up in service — raw and real.

These days, buyers of all kinds of services are skeptical of the hype. Many are jaded, distracted or broke.  Some love what they learn, but they can’t take action because of vacation plans, weddings, family reunions, and other aspects of life that may be getting in their way.  Some say “Yes. I’m going to work with you someday — once they complete what’s already on their plates right now.”

I am guessing you have been on the receiving end of comments like these on more than one occasion.

Here’s the good news.

Some say YES in time for your cart to close so you welcome sales from your best qualified clients who can’t wait to work with you to welcome the promised results in your program.

Kelly suggests that 3-10 percent of live participants will say YES to your invitation.  That has been my experience. Every good launch sets the stage for the next one to be even better than the last.

Provided your program is priced at a high enough tuition, you are now set up to serve ideal clients and profit.

On the downside, the energy required to pull off a live launch is not to be understated.

If you are like me — a someone introverted entrepreneur — you may feel depleted, burned out, or over-exposed as a result of being VISIBLE for 9 days in a row to so many people.

My most recent launch welcomed 1100 participants, and that is after having run prior launches for 300 and 650 registrants.

That is a lot of humanity to serve during a concentrated window of time.

After all the pre-event promotion, standing and delivering, and selling, you may get to the end of an epic effort such as this and say to yourself, “This is the last time I am ever going to launch anything like this.”

Here’s what you need to keep in mind.

Not everything we touch turns to gold instantly.

Most things don’t.

Success requires practice, repetition, and an ongoing commitment to mastery.

Success requires so many skills, abilities, and strengths — including an unshakable mindset and confidence and conviction to wave the flag for the mission you are fighting for and the results your clients deeply need.

You must believe in your solution so deeply that making offers, scheduling consults with clients, and closing deals is ongoing, consistent, and of service to one and all.

That’ a tall order.

There is no “easy” button.

A casual effort mostly likely delivers a casual result.

An all-out effort may or may not deliver a spectacular result.

That’s the risk we take as entrepreneurs.

Kelly Roach recommends a concept called “launch cycling” through which you launch every 6 – 8 weeks.

That means you need to drive 300 or more leads to your own live launch. These are people who have the means and the need to solve an urgent problem that you can solve.

You must craft a compelling offer to solve the problem and have a way to deliver the result that is worthy of the tuition you charge.

You’ve got to have rock solid and confident on-camera delivery as you share quality content, structured in the right way.

Most importantly, you’ve got to believe in your offer such that you would invest 10 times the value in your own program to get the value you promise for others.

Then, you deliver your program, deliver the value, wow your clients, invite renewals, and do it all over again.

It’s a lot to take on.

It’s a lot of work.

When you do the work, you get the pay off.

You can’t do this part-time with one arm tied behind your back and with the other holding a cocktail.
